For some terrible reason, the TODAY show felt it necessary to dress up weatherman Steve Jacobs in Native American traditional clothing, namely a Native American headdress.
On day four of the TODAY show’s ‘We Love Australia Tour’, which is typically a way of showing off our lovely land down under, someone threw a Native American headdress at Stevie Jacobs to put on – while he showcased livestock in NSW’s Hunter Valley Gardens.
According to one viewer, he also “referred to them as Indians and then did a racist Indian accent, joking ‘that’s the wrong Indian’.”
