The end of the year is near and with most big shows wrapped up, Seven’s The Chase won the night in entertainment pulling in 455,000 viewers.
In news, news – Seven News hit 856,000 viewers while Nine News had 774,000 viewers.
Seven’s Border Security snagged the second entertainment spot with 402,000 viewers, – proving we all just really miss airports.
For 10, The Project snagged 313,000 viewers – and the wardrobe team deserves several Logies, everyone always looks soo good!
For Seven, Front Bar won 303,000 viewers and Nurses earned 275,000 viewers – if you aren’t getting enough medical content from the news, Nurses has you covered!
On Nine, A Current Affair scored 634,000 viewers, Hot Seat grabbed 387,000 and RBT earned 365,000 and Tipping Point grabbed 273,000 viewers – I’m not sure what is more stressful being a contestant on a quiz show or having to pass a breath test?
ABC had a solid night with ABC News netting 589,000 viewers. 7.30 grabbing 454,000 viewers. Meanwhile, Barrie Cassidy won 377,000 viewers and Q&A earned 270,000 viewers – Ita should be happy enough with that result!
Out on top was the Nine Network with 29.0 per cent. Seven Network fell slightly behind with 25.7 per cent of the daily share. The ABC Network earned 18.4 per cent of the share, followed by The Ten Network which earned 17.4 per cent of the share. While SBS had 9.5 per cent of the share.
Looking now to OzTAM’s total tv report for Wednesday, last week, the top-performing program was Seven News with a total audience of 1,471,000 viewers (metro: 890,000 regional: 550,000, BVOD: 29,000). Next was the Nine News, with a total audience of 1,109,000 viewers (metro: 781,000 regional: 298,000, BVOD: 28,000).
10’s Bachelorette Finale saw the biggest boost with 29 per cent, bringing it to a total audience of 590,000 (metro: 361,000, regional: 96,000, BVOD: 103,000)
