Creative agency, Those That Do, has signed a partnership with Ireland-based collaborative social media marketing platform, Gladcloud.

The collaboration—the first-of-its kind for Gladcloud in Australia—will bring together Those That Do’s creative expertise in brand strategy and consumer engagement, with Gladcloud’s experience in scalable, hyperlocal social media activation, to enable brands to create collaborative social campaigns that drive foot traffic and sales for brands.

The Dublin-headquartered Gladcloud is a collaborative social media marketing platform that enables brands to scale hyperlocal campaigns through the social media pages of its independently owned retail hospitality partners.

Designed for companies operating through third-party networks, Gladcloud provides the tools to distribute content, manage campaigns and measure performance at-scale. Its client stable includes global brands across a range of verticals, including alcoholic beverages, food delivery and travel retail.

“Our new partnership with Gladcloud offers a unique opportunity to fuse strategy, storytelling and localised reach into a single, unified approach,” said Those That Do founder and director, Ben Walker.

“Having both worked extensively with global leaders in the beverage space, there is already strong synergy between our businesses; this new partnership is about introducing more brands to the power of combining strategy, brand narrative and hyperlocal execution to drive real-world results.”

The partnership also marks a major milestone in Gladcloud’s global expansion plans, with Australia identified as one of the company’s key growth markets.

Gladcloud chief growth officer, Tyson Pearcey, said working with Those That Do would better position Gladcloud to deliver high-impact, hyperlocal campaigns for brand partners across Australia.

“Gladcloud will enable Those That Do clients to leverage the social media presence of retail customers at scale to increase engagement and local conversions with brand-safe assets that are programmatically customised and hyper-locally targeted for each retail partner location,” he said.

“By partnering with Those That Do, which has a strong market presence in Sydney and Melbourne, we’re strengthening our ability to deliver value for brand partners across the region, bringing local insights and creative excellence to our platform-driven social media activation.

“Those That Do has a reputation for delivering stand-out work across the beverage, lifestyle and entertainment sectors, and we’re excited to be working alongside the agency and sharing its mission to turn ideas into action, and connection into loyalty.”
