Technology, finance, and impact PR agency Third Hemisphere is continuing its growth trajectory and further strengthening its presence in the Australian market with the opening of a Melbourne office and the appointment of two key personnel.

The new hires will support the agency in amplifying the voices of innovators and leaders who are making a significant impact in technology and finance.

Erika Rutledge joins Third Hemisphere as an account director, bringing with her a decade of experience in issues-rich PR engagements, including leading game-changing campaigns for household brands such as ANZ, News Corp, AirBnB, Nestle, and the Victorian Premier. Her notable achievements include launching The Australian’s inaugural Green Power Player’s 100 List, facilitating ANZ’s TikTok debut, and leading a campaign that secured three years’ worth of medical research funding for the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation.

Milanny Odon joins as account executive, bringing a wealth of experience in creating campaigns for brands in the Philippines and Southeast Asia including as Account Manager for Ogilvy and Communications Manager for TELUS International Philippines. In these roles, she honed her skills in corporate communications, integrated marketing, influencer and social media content, and crisis management.

These strategic appointments reflect Third Hemisphere’s commitment to expanding its expertise and service offerings, according to founder and CEO, Hannah Moreno.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Erika and Milanny to our growing team, in our newly opened Melbourne office. They are both highly experienced PR agency pros, and we are excited to see the amazing coverage they will secure for our clients. As we continue to expand our presence in Australia and globally, Erika and Milanny will be instrumental in helping our clients become industry leaders in technology, finance, and impact,” said Hannah Moreno, founder & CEO.

“Joining Third Hemisphere presents a unique opportunity to leverage my experience in high-profile campaigns to drive meaningful change, care of the deeply innovative and values-led clientele serviced by the agency. I’m looking forward to collaborating with our clients to create impactful narratives that not only achieve their business objectives but also contribute to making a meaningful difference in the world,” said Erika Rutledge, account director.

“I’m excited to join Third Hemisphere and immerse myself in the Australian market while leveraging my international experience. I’m eager to support our team and clients in creating compelling narratives that drive change and innovation across multiple critical sectors,” said Milanny Odon, account executive.

The office will be located on Level 27 of 101 Collins St building in Melbourne’s CBD.

The agency remains committed to elevating the work of world-changing clients and positively impacting millions of lives globally.
