Snapchat has rolled out new features including easier access to our camera, creative ways to celebrate Halloween with new Lenses and Bitmoji, and more to support its community of over 850 million.

Take Snaps even faster on iPhone

Snapchatters can now capture moments even quicker before they disappear. Users can customise the Camera Control on iPhone 16 and switch Lock Screen controls on any iPhone running iOS 18 to launch the Snapchat app and take photos and videos, even when iPhone is locked.

Celebrate Spooky Season

Get into the Halloween spirit and send a spooky Snap to your crew with new AI-powered Lenses like Clown and Halloween Costume.

Your Bitmoji can get in on the fun, too, with new costumes, including a witch, a princess, a festive onesie and more. Or, dress up your Bitmoji as your favourite character from Mean Girls or Yellowstone in partnership with Paramount.

Say it with a Sticker

Snapchatters love using Bitmoji Stickers as a creative way to chat with friends, and they’ve been shared over 210 billion times. Now, it is offering even more stickers with new trends and lingo, from the infamous Gen-Z heart to tell the group chat you love them, to simply “slay” to cheer on your BFF.

Look back on your adventures with Footsteps

Footsteps on Snap Map are a great way to reflect on your adventures. See the ground you’ve covered in your hometown and travel destinations alike, visible only to you. It’s available for Snapchatters on iOS and Android.
