Publicis Groupe NZ has promoted Jayde Hill to general manager, people and culture in New Zealand.
Since joining Publicis Groupe in 2018, Hill has held a number of leadership positions, most recently as head of people and culture NZ.
In her new role, Hill will lead the Groupe’s People & Culture approach across New Zealand into its next phase of growth, overseeing talent, capability, wellbeing and organisational development.
Hill brings extensive international experience spanning talent acquisition, talent development and business partnering.
Across roles in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom, she has developed deep expertise in attracting and developing high-performing teams, while helping organisations create workplaces where people can thrive.
Pauly Grant, chief talent officer at Publicis Groupe ANZ and APAC, said Hill’s appointment reflects both her leadership capabilities and the impact she has had across the business as part of the executive leadership team. “Jayde’s promotion is very well deserved. Eight years ago, she joined Publicis Groupe as the first dedicated People & Culture hire in New Zealand, and she has been instrumental in building the function from the ground up. Since then, she has helped shape the culture and people experience that underpin our business today, supporting our teams through periods of growth and transformation. She combines strong commercial acumen with genuine care for people, and has the trust and respect of teams and leaders across the Groupe.”
On her appointment, Hill said: “I’m incredibly proud to take on this role and help shape the next phase of Publicis Groupe’s people strategy. The success of any business ultimately comes down to its people. My focus will be on creating an environment where talented individuals can thrive, grow their careers and make a meaningful impact. We have a strong culture, exceptional people and an exciting future ahead, and I’m looking forward to building on that momentum.”
Grant added, “Jayde’s journey with Publicis Groupe is a strong example of the career growth and opportunities we strive to create across our agencies. Her appointment is a testament to the strength of the talent within our organisation, and we’re excited to see her continue to lead and evolve our people strategy in NZ.”
