Monday TV Wrap: Seven News Tops Ratings, With Nine News Nipping At Its Heels

Seven News came top of the TV ratings with 1,129, 000 viewers according to OzTAM’s metro data. However, it was a close race with Nine, as Nine News narrowly came in second, scoring 1, 128,000.

Next was A Current Affair with 782,000 viewers, while ABC News and 7.30 had 748,000 and 675,000 respectively.

Have You Been Paying Attention? is clearly 10’s Monday night ticket, coming in hot with 749,000 viewers, according to OzTAM’s metro data.

The show built on last week’s success and once again secured top spot in the entertainment ratings.

10 also had success with MasterChef, which came second in the entertainment ratings with 661,000 viewers.

The Project had 570,000 viewers while 10 News First had 430,000.

Nine’s Celeb Apprentice peaked in the boardroom at 655,000 viewers, while the rest of the ep peaked at 595,000 viewers. They also had Hot Seat at 588,000.

For Seven, Home and Away had 620,000 viewers while Big Brother’s ominously named ‘Hell Week’ had 590,000 and The Chase had 585,000.

Finally, the ABC had Australian Story at 602,000 while Four Corners had 508,000 and Media Watch had 496,000 viewers.

Coming out on top of the daily share was the Seven Network with 26.5 per cent, followed by the Nine Network with 25.7 per cent.

Next was Network 10 with 22.9 per cent, followed by the ABC TV Network with 17.4 per cent and the SBS Network with 7.4 per cent.
