Premium mobile marketing technology company, MOBKOI, records its highest growth in the first half of 2021, signaling a strong recovery from the pandemic and increased confidence by marketers in brand building activities.

In June of 2017, You & Mr Jones – founded by David Jones (former Global CEO of HAVAS), acquired a majority stake in MOBKOI as it builds upon its position as the world’s first BRANDTECH Group.

With MOBKOI’s heritage in the luxury category and long-standing foundational partnerships with LVMH, Richemont and Burberry, its success locally has been spurred by better than expected growth in the diversified categories of automotive, FMCG and cosmetics onboarding clients in 2021 such as Volvo, Hyundai, Dyson, Uber Eats, Estee Lauder and L’Oréal.

At a time when brand suitability, relevancy and safety is key, clients are being selective in their communication strategies to manage, and in some cases transform, their brand perception through the MOBKOI offering.

Adtech expert, Matthieu Jacomin (pictured), was recently promoted to the role of managing director of MOBKOI, SouthEast Asia and ANZ following consistent success in his role as sales director in AU.

We have invested in our premium publisher eco-system to increase campaign efficiency and in new creative capabilities to help our client’s future proof their communication.”

In addition to team and client growth, ex-agency CEO Rebecca Tos joined as Senior Advisor in early 2021 to support MOBKOI’s acceleration strategy in the region. Tos, now an advisor to start-up and enterprise SaaS technology companies, was brought on to help shape their growth and localisation efforts.
