Nine’s new game show The Floor dominated Sunday night prime time viewing by reaching 2 million Aussies and posting an average audience of 979,000. It won both the 25-54s and 16-39s demos.
Paramount’s MasterChef Australia launch, also rated strongly, reaching 1.3 million national viewers, and an average national audience of 722,000, which is up 7 per cent on last year.
The popular cooking show served up its biggest ever streaming audience for a launch episode with 95,000 tuning into the show via BVOD.
This placed MasterChef as the second largest show for its prime time slot in the 25-54s and third in 16-39s, just behind Seven’s The 1% Club.
