Liquid Death is starting to become a mainstay of the beauty industry, now partnering with Aprés Nail to launch a true crime-inspired press-on nail collection.
It follows the canned water company’s recent second collaboration with e.l.f. Cosmetics.
Dubbed ‘Accessory to Murder,’ the collection comes packaged in what resembles an evidence kit, complete with chainsaw-shaped boxes, evidence folders and a Liquid Death can open for those with long nails.
The collaboration marks the brand’s first-ever press-on collection, launched in response to growing demand for ready-to-wear nail designs.
“Aprés Nails has always been an innovator and a disruptor within the nail industry – when we created and launched Gel-X, a whole new category within nails developed around this product,” Aprés Nails’ brand development & education director Eunice Park said.
“Liquid Death is also an innovator and disruptor in its category as well. Not many people would think people could reinvent something as established as water (just as nails was an already established industry), but they did.
“They seemed like a great partner to develop something that would feel unexpected and out of the box for both brands, so we reached out and began discussing a potential partnership,” Park added.
The collaboration is the second from the nail brand, which teamed up with Japanese entertainment company Sanrio in 2024 to launch a collection with Hello Kitty and Friends.
