LifeUnleashed: Cocogun Rebrands Integra Service Dogs

Cocogun has launched a new name, strategy and branding for the organisation that enriches the lives of Australian veterans and first responders suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), by matching them with highly trained Labrador assistance dogs.

Integra Service Dogs Australia is now LifeUnleashed, with the new name and look reflecting the important and empowering work the organisation does.

Founded by veterans in 2016, LifeUnleashed is a national provider, delivering services in most states and territories. While rates of suicide, depression and other mental health issues are heartbreakingly high among veterans and first responders, research shows that matching them with assistance dogs leads to reduced periods of hospitalisation, reduced medication levels, helps individuals rebuild trust and relationships, and connect with family, friends and the community.

Cocogun and its technology partner LBH worked closely with LifeUnleashed alongside long-time client Coras, who introduced them to the project.

LifeUnleashed CMO Cindy Lenferna de la Motte said: “Phil Cutts, CEO of Coras, could have taken the easy route with a one-time donation and called it a day. Instead, he pulled together a collaborative team of best-in-class partners to create something truly impactful. The team’s combined efforts have provided us with a modern digital brand and platform that allows us to engage our community and share our story more effectively. We are deeply grateful for their vision and generosity in supporting our mission.”

Coras CEO Phil Cutts said, “As a veteran-founded organisation ourselves, we were very proud to partner with LifeUnleashed, Cocogun and LBH on this extremely important project. With almost 60% of our team ex-Australian Defence Force and most of these team members seeing active service, we understand the lifelong challenges for some returned service members. Working with this like-minded, values-driven team to support Veterans brings us so much joy.”

Cocogun co-founder and MD Chiquita King said: “This project first and foremost is about the wonderful enduring benefit of what partnerships can attain beyond commercial outcomes. We have worked with Coras for many years and they believed that we could add value in a way that would supercharge Integra Service Dogs Australia’s awareness, engagement and impact. We in turn partnered with LBH, the most wonderful and generous team of technology experts to collaborate with us on the build. What we’ve created is not just a result of professionals collaborating but partners showing up with a shared vision of excellence and a desire for the outcome to be worthy of the vets and first responders that have served their community so valiantly.”

The new name and brand is live now across all LifeUnleashed assets including a new website and suite of communications materials.
