Ballesty, who is currently based in Sydney, is a consumer marketing specialist with decades of experience in the industry. He prides himself on growing a business through the lens of brand and on disrupting the market with new to world ideas.
Prior to joining Domino’s, Ballesty held senior marketing roles with brands including (but not limited to) Foxtel, Diageo and Pacific Brands, as well as managing his own strategy and research business, working on start-ups such as sportswear company Skins and retail company Unistraw. Most recently he joins Domino’s following a General Manager position with drink company, Seedlip.
As CMO for Domino’s ANZ, Ballesty will be responsible for all facets of consumer marketing including brand, digital marketing, communications and product development, as well as leading the development of the Domino’s innovation pipeline moving forward.
Ballesty will also be a member of the Domino’s ANZ Executive Team, working closely with leaders in the business and CEO Nick Knight to continue to drive the strategic and creative direction of the brand.
ANZ CEO Nick Knight said: “We are extremely excited to have someone of Adam’s calibre join Domino’s and are looking forward to the new energy, passion and direction he will bring to the role as we continue on our journey of growth, improving the customer experience and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
“We are confident he will add immense value to the dynamic and innovative marketing team we have here at Domino’s and can’t wait to see what he does in the role.”
Ballesty has sat on a number of Boards – most recently the Love Mercy Foundation – and is currently a mentor with the Australian Marketing Academy (AMA).
His current pizza of choice is a Roasted Vegetable Deluxe, but we look forward to seeing exactly how his tastes change after he commences in the role.
He replaces Allan Collins who left Domino’s in April 2021 after almost 15 years in the role. Ballesty will commence in the role effective from Monday, 2 August 2021.
