JCDecaux has promoted John Harris to chief sales officer from his previous role as general manager of sales. The promotion coincides with the addition of Jemma Enright and Eddie Foo to its executive leadership team, supporting the next phase of the company’s growth.
Harris, who became general manager of sales in November 2021, has now been appointed to chief sales officer as part of a broader leadership restructure. The promotion follows Max Eburne’s transition from chief commercial officer, effectively the company’s CSO, to co-CEO, and reflects a reorganisation of senior roles, including Harris.
A spokesperson for JCDecaux told B&T the title changes highlight the company’s effort to restructure and clarify commercial leadership responsibilities as reflected in the addition of Jemma Enright and Eddie Foo to the executive leadership team.
Max Eburne co-CEO JCDecaux ANZ said “These appointments bring strengthened leadership across Sales, Product and Strategy, with John, Jemma and Eddie stepping into key roles that support our performance and growth agenda. Each brings extensive industry experience and a strong record of achievement.”
Dave Watkins co-CEO JCDecaux ANZ added “This is a proven group of leaders who know our business, our clients and our culture. Their experience and leadership will help us stay ahead of changing customer needs, strengthen our partnerships, and continue setting the standard for quality and performance in Out-of-Home.”
John Harris has been appointed chief sales officer, marking the next step in his 19-year career with JCDecaux in the UK and Australia. Over that time, Harris has held multiple leadership roles across the business most recently as general manager of sales giving him an understanding of JCDecaux’s operations, clients and markets. He oversees national sales, trading and programmatic, driving customer success, revenue growth and market performance.
Jemma Enright becomes executive general manager of product following her success redefining JCDecaux’s airport product strategy as general manager of airports. Enright draws on her 25 years of strategic media, product and innovation experience to lead the company’s product portfolio, ensuring JCDecaux’s network continues to deliver quality and effectiveness in Out-of-home media.
Eddie Foo has been appointed executive general manager of strategy. With more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across media, construction, travel and industrial services. Foo has played a central role in shaping JCDecaux’s business strategy and leading major tender programs since returning to the business in 2019. He is well placed to advance long-term growth initiatives for the company.
