Dentsu has appointed Jake Hird as executive vice president – strategy and growth focused on supercharging the strategy and growth of the B2B business.
Following a professional break, the appointment sees Hird return to dentsu, where he was formerly VP strategy at dentsu B2B in Asia Pacific for more than six years.
oasting over 15 years of experience, Hird’s career has spanned Accenture, Publicis Sapient and Econsultancy.
Reporting to Rob Harvey, CEO dentsu ANZ, Hird will primarily focus on strategic solutions, to grow Australia’s B2B practice.
Global B2B marketing is undergoing a rapid transformation, with digital ad spend forecast set to reach US $48.15bn by 2026* as brands accelerate investment in connected, data-driven growth strategies.

The appointment is effective immediately, with Hird based in Sydney.
