Infographic: The 5 Stages Of Grief GoT Fans Went Through During Foxtel’s Streaming Fail

Were you one of the tens of thousands of Aussies who couldn’t wait to watch the premiere episode of the seventh season of Game of Thrones, but had to because of the global outage? Did it leave you in angst waiting for the winter that never came? Did you huddle in the corner mumbling “The internet is dark and full of terrors” as you refresh your browser hoping for a miracle?

Marketing agency DigitasLBi has come up with a great infographic charting each of the five stages of grief fans experienced that night.

The chart, created using DLBi’s Social Media Index and data from Hitwise, shows many fans ended up in the acceptance stage.

The second episode of Game of Thrones’ seventh season airs on Monday on Foxtel in Australia. Let’s hope to the old gods and the new that viewers don’t relapse back in any of the five stages!
