Tourism marketing and PR agency, GTI, is building on a successful first half of 2025 with a slew of new client acquisitions and strategic team expansion, adding Rockefeller Center, MTA-Mobile Travel Agents, Oceania Cruises and Hurtigruten to its growing portfolio.
GTI has been appointed as the agency of record to deliver integrated trade marketing and PR services for Rockefeller Centre, inspiring Australians to rediscover the magic of this world-renowned landmark and New York City.
Meanwhile, GTI has expanded its PR remit in Australia and New Zealand, now representing culinary-and destination-focused luxury cruise line, Oceania Cruises and leader in iconic Norwegian coastal voyages, Hurtigruten, whilst also adding Australia’s leading network of independent travel advisors, MTA – Mobile Travel Agents to its PR lineup.
To match this client growth, the agency has bolstered its team with key new hires and returning talent across PR, marketing and sales. On the PR team, Colleen Giblin returns to GTI as Group Account Director bringing extensive industry expertise, while Sophie Stanton and Laneisha Lynch join as PR Account Managers, bringing deep industry knowledge and international PR experience from top London PR agencies.
The sales and marketing team has seen Anne Lee rejoin to lead the agency’s trade efforts as Trade Marketing Director representing Travel Texas, Palau and Park City after enjoying a trade marketing role at The Travel Corporation. Joining her is Simran Mediratta, formerly Event Manager at KarryOn, as Account Director for Santa Monica Travel & Tourism (SMTT) and LATAM Airlines.
GTI’s consumer team has also been bolstered with Jessica Cory joining from Destination NSW as Account Director, leading the Vanuatu Tourism Office account and Tiarna Henry-Wharton as Account Manager, from independent agency, Bastion.
GTI Founder and Managing Director, Sarah Anderson, highlighted industry referrals as key drivers of recent client wins.
“GTI was recommended to our new clients Hurtigruten, MTA and Oceania Cruises by industry partners and we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with these amazing companies and support their growth,” Sarah said.
“As a certified B-Corp we are interested in steady growth that provides our team with the challenges and opportunities they seek while ensuring our impact is bedded in sustainable ways to travel that benefits communities – we are lucky to be an independent agency working with brands we can passionately promote.
“We have a keen focus on growing a happy team and our new hires have incredible expertise across event management, trade distribution, digital marketing strategy and the luxury travel space which aligns well with our client needs.”
