The international advocacy organization on a mission to end extreme poverty, Global Citizen, has revealed a strategic partnership with TPC (Tsao Pao Chee) and NO.17 Foundation, which will be activated during IMPACT WEEK 2025: The Well-Being Economic Conference and Festival, taking place from 16–18 September 2025 at Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore.

Continuing the global expansion of its action-driven thought leadership summits, the nonprofit will curate dedicated Global Citizen x IMPACT WEEK sessions, with featured participants including

  • José Ramos-Horta, Nobel Prize Winner and President of Timor-Leste;
  • The Hon. Scott Morrison, 30th Prime Minister of Australia;
  • Stefan Löfven, Former Prime Minister of Sweden;
  • Tylah Farani-Watene, Founder, VAKA 2030, and 2024 Global Citizen Youth Leader Awardee from New Zealand;

  • Qiyun Woo, Founder, The Weird and Wild, 2024 Global Citizen Youth Leader from Singapore.

IMPACT WEEK 2025 will culminate in Global Citizen Nights: Singapore, featuring RRILEY, Galdive and Jinan Laetitia. It will be an unforgettable closing celebration combining the power of music and impactful storytelling to honour the vital work of local changemakers positively impacting their communities. RRILEY and Jinan Laetitia both recently performed in Singapore as opening acts on Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour. A limited number of tickets will be made available to members of the Global Citizen community based in Singapore.

Global Citizen x IMPACT WEEK sessions will drive tangible action toward Global Citizen’s international campaigns, which seek to raise $100 million for children to access education and football, through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund; mobilize $1 billion to protect, restore and rewild the Amazon rainforest; and triple renewable energy capacity in Africa by 2030 to addressing the unmet energy needs of 675 million people who still lack access to electricity. Since the movement began, $49 billion in commitments announced on Global Citizen platforms has been deployed, impacting 1.3 billion lives.

The strategic partnership between Global Citizen and TPC reflects a shared commitment to planetary transformation and spotlights the power and potential of collaboration between East and West to develop the scalable solutions the world urgently needs. Framed around the question, “Can five days shape the next fifty years?” IMPACT WEEK will convene the bold coalitions needed to accelerate the shift toward the Well-being economy where the private sector becomes a positive force to end extreme poverty and defend the planet, aligning prosperity with purpose.

“At Global Citizen, we believe that bold change happens when policy, culture, and community unite behind a shared vision. Partnering with TPC (Tsao Pao Chee) and NO.17 Foundation brings our movement to Southeast Asia for the first time, rallying new support to fund education for children, protect the world’s rainforests, and expand clean energy access for millions,” said Michael Sheldrick, co-founder and chief policy, impact and government relations officer, Global Citizen.

“Together, we’re creating a platform where commitments turn into results – funding classrooms, keeping forests standing, and delivering clean power – because when capital, compassion, and community work together, we can build a future where people thrive and the planet flourishes.

The partnership between TPC (Tsao Pao Chee) and NO.17 Foundation, both founded by Chavalit Frederick Tsao, and Global Citizen is rooted in shared values and a deep commitment to systemic transformation. With a belief that prosperity must align with purpose, IMPACT WEEK convenes leaders across business, policy, and philanthropy to co-create a Well-being Economy. Global Citizen brings a powerful platform to mobilise voices and drive global action.

Together, this collaboration unites TPC’s regional presence and convening power across Asia with Global Citizen’s global reach and citizen mobilisation, accelerating progress toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals and advancing a Well-being Economy that expands access, creates opportunity, and enables a flourishing future across generations.
