Karen See

Since the age of 16 Karen has always wanted to work in communications -- many years on -- and she has been fortunate enough to have spent her entire career in the marketing and communications industry (more than she cares to admit!) Karen has worked on client and agency side; lead PR departments; and, has managed the advertising and media strategy for one of the world's leading brands making her relatively unique in a world where many practitioners have only worked in one discipline or field. Added to this, she's lived and worked in Sydney, London, New York and now Hong Kong - her experience crossing regions, borders and cultures. Karen has met and worked with inspiring people that have had a positive impact on her career including Lady Margaret Thatcher, General Colin Powell, Bill Gates, Sir Ken Robinson, Bryce Courtenay, David Nutter, and Keith Reinhard. As Chief Communications Officer of DDB Group Asia Pacific, she believes herself very fortunate to be working for one of the most established, recognised and creative agency networks in the world. She lives by DDB's Founder, Bill Bernbach's quote, "To succeed an ad (or a person or product for that matter) must establish its own unique personality, or it will never be noticed.”
