Performance agency Bonfire has promoted eight staff members, including two new team leaders, following a period of strong client wins and business growth.
The Perth-based agency has elevated Madison Forward and Rob Di Giovanni into leadership roles, while Simon Bruno, Brodie McMaster, Anastasia Sipsas, Brayden Zuin, Lovisa Jägrell and Sam Marshall have all stepped into senior specialist positions.
The promotions come after Bonfire secured several new clients over the past year, including Cancer Council WA, Luma and Persich, and as the agency earns a place as a finalist for Digital Agency of the Year in the Campaign Brief WA Awards.
Bonfire, which says its average employee tenure is 8.5 years, has positioned internal career progression as a key part of its growth strategy.
General manager of strategy Alex Gavalas said the promotions recognised the team’s contribution to both clients and the agency’s continued expansion.
“Great work creates momentum within a business and Madison, Simon, Rob, Brodie, Brayden, Lovisa, Anastasia and Sam have all demonstrated their commitment to delivering outstanding results for Bonfire’s clients, and the broader business,” Gavalas said.
“Their new roles reflect their talent, dedication and leadership that is helping to drive Bonfire forward. Collectively, they make a lasting impact on our clients, our team and our continued growth. We are proud to foster an environment where careers flourish and long-term success is built together.”
Among the appointments, Madison Forward has been promoted to the newly created role of Performance Media Team Leader after a decade with the agency, having joined Bonfire in 2016 and most recently serving as senior performance media specialist.
“I am thrilled to step into this new role, leading paid media and digital strategy for our business,” Forward said.
“I am excited to bring a fresh perspective, new ideas and passion to the team, and am ready to help our clients grow through powerful, data-backed advertising.”
Rob Di Giovanni has been promoted to head of marketing, where he will oversee Bonfire’s client marketing activity. Di Giovanni joined the agency in 2022 following marketing and brand consultancy roles with Business Station and Modular Studio, and was recently named a finalist for Campaign Brief WA’s Marketing Manager of the Year award.
“The best marketing I’ve done is hard to separate from the relationships behind it,” Di Giovanni said.
“Understanding is what produces team members who are genuinely invested, clients who trust your judgement and customers who come back without being chased. This is the ethos that’s underpinned marketing at Bonfire and will continue to be the foundation of my team and the work we deliver for our clients.”
The remaining promotions include Simon Bruno to data and analytics lead, Brodie McMaster to performance strategy lead, Anastasia Sipsas and Sam Marshall to senior account executive, Brayden Zuin to senior performance media specialist, and Lovisa Jägrell to the newly created role of brand, activations and events specialist.
All appointments take effect immediately.
