The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) has announced its latest member webinar, focused on the importance of planning and strategy for the influencer industry.
The webinar, “24 Hour Business Plan Masterclass: The Importance of Strategy for the Influencer Ecosystem,” will be held on 2 December and feature a panel of strategy and planning industry experts.
The panel, hosted by AiMCO managing director Patrick Whitnall will explore what planning and strategy looks like in the influencer industry and why it matters, before delving into how businesses can sharpen their focus, accelerate growth and create alignment across teams, creators and brands.
“The influencer and content ecosystem is maturing rapidly, but many brands, agencies, creators and tech platforms still operate without a clear plan. This webinar is designed to give our members a blueprint for success, ensuring campaigns are authentic, aligned with business goals, and have measurable results,” AiMCO’s managing director Patrick Withnall said.
The webinar will feature insights from 24HRBP strategist and senior advisor Vijay Solanki, Hypetap managing director Bryce Coombe and Poem general manager Rhania Farah.
Solanki is a leader in strategy, working with business leaders and companies to help them grow. He has worked with hundreds of agencies globally through his senior roles at Unilever, Phillips, Shazam and SCA, bringing strategic leadership, innovation and marketing oversight to clients and campaigns. He now helps teams and leaders move faster, creating clarity, alignment and growth strategies through the 24HR Business Plan framework.
Coombe brings more than two decades of industry experience to the panel. He has held leadership positions at creative agencies including Clemenger BBDO, CHE Proximity and AJF, working on some of Australia’s biggest brands. He joined Hypetap in early 2023. Coombe also runs the account management course for the Communication Council’s AdSchool and has chaired the Communications Council’s Account Management Group.
Farah has experience in creative communications and influencer-led campaigns. She joined Poem’s Sydney team in 2019 as a senior account director and was appointed general manager in 2024, working on campaigns for KitKat, Impossible Foods, Oporto, and Place Management NSW.
This year’s AiMCO webinars have focused on a range of key topics for the Australian influencer community, including podcasting, user-generated content, talent management, best practice in social media and body image.
The webinar will be held on Tuesday, 2 December at 11 am AEDT.
