Chinese Automaker Zeekr Hands Creative Keys To It’s Friday

Independent creative agency It’s Friday has been appointed as the creative agency of record for Zeekr Australia, following a competitive agency pitch.

The partnership marks a significant step for Zeekr as it accelerates its presence in the Australian market.

Zeekr the Chinese luxury EV brand, has quickly established itself as a formidable challenger, blending technology, performance and design. Its flagship model, the Zeekr 7X, has already made a strong impact locally, securing multiple major industry accolades. These include the 2026 Drive Car of the Year for Best Medium SUV Under $60,000, CarsGuide’s Best Medium SUV Under $60k, and a Gold Award for Best-Value Luxury EV at the 2026 Money Magazine Best of the Best Awards.

As part of the appointment, It’s Friday has developed a new brand platform for Zeekr Australia, ‘Settle No More,’ designed to capture the brand’s ambition to challenge convention and redefine expectations within the category.

The platform will underpin all brand, product, and retail communications, spanning integrated campaigns, content, experience, activation and digital activity.

“We were looking for a partner who could help us build a distinctive, premium brand in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving category,” said Tony Zhou, CMO, Zeekr Australia. “It’s Friday demonstrated a clear strategic vision and creative ambition that aligns with where we want to take the brand in Australia.”

For It’s Friday, the win reflects its reputation for helping building modern, challenger brands like Suntory Boss Coffee with its creative work.

“Zeekr is a genuine disruptor in the premium EV space – a challenger brand with the ambition and intent to rewrite the rules. It doesn’t play by traditional automotive conventions, and that’s exactly the point,” said Pete Bosilkovski CEO It’s Friday.

“It’s a brand built for Australians who expect more. More technology, more performance, more design, more luxury without compromise. ‘Settle No More’ isn’t just a line, it’s a mindset. And it’s one we’re excited to bring to life.”

The agency will be responsible for brand strategy, creative development, and integrated campaign execution across the Australian market.

The appointment is effective immediately, with work already underway on an upcoming campaign.
