Yahoo7 has announced the appointment of Alison Powell as group sales manager for its Queensland commercial team.
Powell joins Yahoo7 following an 11-year tenure with WIN Television in sales.
In her new role, Powell will be responsible for strengthening relationships with key client and agency partners and driving new business opportunities for Yahoo7 in Queensland.
Paul Bates, national agency sales director at Yahoo7, said Powell’s appointment is crucial to realising the company’s plans in the north.
“The Queensland operation continues to go from strength to strength for us, and our commercial team on the ground has been really performing,” he said.
“Alison will build on those successes and lead the team to deliver innovative advertising solutions that cement our position in this critical market.
“Her local knowledge, experience with agency and direct sales teams, and passion for mentoring and developing top talent, made Alison the stand out candidate for this role.”
