Nine’s Travel Guides secured 630,000 viewers, making it the most-watched entertainment, according to OzTAM.

Last night’s episode of Travel Guides took things closer to home, exploring the sights, smells, sounds, and presumably wine, of South Australia.

Travel Guides just snatched the entertainment win over ABC’s Hard Quiz, which came in second with 620,000 viewers.

Coming out on top overall was Seven News with 974,000 viewers, followed by Nine News with 910,000, and A Current Affair with 678,000.

After Travel Guides and Hard Quiz came the ABC’s news programming with ABC News at 615,000 and 7.30 at 573,000.

Both MasterChef and Big Brother found themselves in the middle of the rankings once more. MasterChef performed better of the two with 557,000 viewers but was beaten by Home and Away which had 559,000.

Big Brother found itself with 539,00 viewers, below The Chase, which had 553,000.

The rest of the night saw the ABC’s The Weekly With Charlie Pickering score 516,000 viewers while You Can’t Ask That had 374,000.

Nine’s Hot Seat had 475,000, and Doctor Doctor had 368,000 viewers.

The Project had 445,000 viewers while 10 News First had 354,000.

Nine (all channels) won the night with 27 per cent of the daily share, closely followed by Seven (all channels) with 26 per cent. Next was Network 10 with 19 per cent in another narrow race where the ABC Network had 18 per cent.

The SBS Network had eight per cent.
