Thursday TV Wrap: MasterChef Tops Entertainment Ratings, But Seven Takes The Cake

MasterChef was again top of the Thursday entertainment ratings with an episode that saw another group of amateurs compete against professional chefs.

Thursday’s challenge was colour themed because, famously, the colour of food is the most important part of the dish!

The episode nabbed a nice 567,000 viewers, as per OzTAM’s metro data.

Coming out on top overall was, again Seven News, followed by Nine News and A Current Affair. The eps had 942,000, 910,000 and 678,000 viewers respectively.

After MasterChef was ABC News with 561,000 viewers. Next was Seven with a lineup of Home and Away, The Chase and Home and Away – Late. The shows had 557,000, 502,000 and 489,000 viewers respectively.

The rest of Seven’s night had The Front Bar with 349,000 and The Latest: Seven News with 301,000.

Nine’s Hot Seat had 472,000 viewers while the Thursday night NRL game between the Cowboys and the Raiders had 327,000.

For the ABC, 7.30 had 470,000 viewers while Back Roads had 430,000 viewers. Finally, for 10, The Project had 453,000 and 10 News First had 313,000.

It was the Seven Network on top last night with 27 per cent of the daily share, followed by the Nine Network with 26 per cent. Then was Network 10 with 20 per cent of the daily share, while the ABC Network had 17 per cent and the SBS Network had eight per cent.
