Last night, Thursday October 23, multi award-winning Australian artist Vance Joy made a triumphant return to Nova’s Red Room, lighting up Sydney’s Paddo Inn with an electrifying, up-close performance.
Following his 2022 Brisbane set under the iconic neon glow, the global hitmaker brought his signature folk-pop magic back to Nova’s Red Room, treating just 150 lucky guests to a money-can’t-buy experience. The intimate showcase featured fresh tracks and fan favourites in a night that felt both personal and powerful.
Vance opened with the heartfelt Mess is Mine, setting the tone for a stunning setlist that included Georgia, Saturday Sun, Divine Feelings, Fire and the Flood, and Fascination in the Dark. He wrapped the night with his chart-topping anthem Riptide, leading the crowd in a euphoric sing-along that echoed through the venue.
The performance followed the release of his double A-side singles Divine Feelings and Fascination in the Dark—his first new music since 2022’s In Our Own Sweet Time. The new tracks reaffirm Vance Joy’s place as one of Australia’s most celebrated songwriters, blending intimate storytelling with his signature folk-pop sound.
With over 10 billion streams, multiple gold and platinum certifications, and a resume that includes touring with Taylor Swift and headlining stages across the globe, Vance Joy continues to captivate audiences with his anthemic yet intimate sound. His Red Room performance was a warm-up for his next stop: Harvest Rock Festival in Adelaide on Saturday, October 25.
