Nine and Seven continued their midweek rivalry on Tuesday night, with game shows, reality television and comedy all delivering competitive numbers.
Tipping Point Australia was yet again the winner of the evening, with a Total TV National Reach of 1,625,000 and an Total TV National Average Audience of 895,000.
Over on Seven, The Chase Australia came in fifth with a national reach of 1,498,000 and an average audience of 757,000. A repeat of the UK version of the format came in 27th with 549,000 reach.
The Hundred With Andy Lee came in seventh with a national reach of 1,326,000 and an average audience of 645,000. The show saw host Andy Lee joined by a panel of Aussie comedians, this week including Sophie Monk, Nick Cody and Nina Oyama, alongside 100 regulars via Zoom.
Seven’s new renovation series My Reno Rules was ninth with a national reach of 1,214,000 and an average audience of 565,000. Last nights episode ramped up the tension as Adrian Portelli’s pool bombshell left teams facing a $1 million coin toss, with the stakes higher than ever as the competition heads toward its finale.
Channel 10’s MasterChef Australia had national reach of 1,179,000 and an average audience of 695,000 at eleventh. The episode introduced one of the season’s most chaotic challenges, the Team Relay. As part of the challenge four teams had to navigate a four-stage cook with the purple team, consisting of Jack, Hannah, Vinnie and Casper, emerging victorious.
They almost flawlessly executed a herb-crusted lamb rack, hasselback potatoes, glazed carrots and a yoghurt and black garlic sauce to secure their shot in the next immunity challenge.
Clarkson’s Farm rounded out the night for Nine, at twelth with a national reach of 1,098,000 and an average audience of 419,000.
Hot on its heels was ABC’s Shaun Micallef’s Going For Broke which brought in a national reach of 870,000 and an average audience of 449,000.
