Nine’s The Block bulldozed its way to the top ratings, pulling a Total TV National Reach of 1,704,000 and a Total TV National Average Audience of 1,025,000.
The episode was centred around Family Bathroom Week, with a $250,000 E&S kitchen upgrade up for grabs, turning up the heat on the competition.
Lisa and Rosco copped the cruellest blow, watching their freshly tiled floor ripped back up after failing inspection. Chantel and Wyatt pulled off the comeback of the week, becoming the first team tiling after a lost day earlier on. Courtney and Sev stayed were stuck in the mud after a trade deal went sideways and Rick and Tayla lost two tilers to an insurance dramas.
Elsewhere, the game and quiz shows kept doing what they do best. Nine’s Tipping Point Australia had a national reach of 1,549,000 with an average audience of 882,000. The 1% Club UK on Seven was close behind with a national reach of 1,491,000 and an average audience of 819,000. Seven’s The Chase Australia had a national reach of 1,385,000 and an average audience of 721,000.
Over on Ten, The Traitors Australia had a national reach of 893,000 reach with an average audience of 515,000. Contestants disagreed over whether to welcome fan-favourite Cam Merchant back into the fold, only for the Survivor crew to hijack the vote and boot him out all over again.
A last-minute twist spared every player from elimination, however the roundtable still descended into total confusion as trust across the house went up in smoke.
ABC’s Spicks and Specks came in fifteenth with a national reach of 842,000 and an average audience of 323,000. The sixth episode of the season brought together Kate Miller-Heidke, Noah Szto, Denise Scott and Toshi Maeda for the usual blend of music trivia and banter.
