CarsGuide has rolled out a new brand platform, driven by newly appointed agency Today the Brave, that flips the power dynamic in Australia’s car-buying market with a simple truth: they just ‘Get Cars’.

Positioning CarsGuide as the trusted partner in the car-buying journey, the platform is designed to earn trust in a cluttered automotive category. Not just another site that sells cars. Not just another publisher that writes reviews. But the place Australians turn to when a big car decision is staring them in the face.

Because buying a car has never felt more complicated.

As independent experts who test, drive and pull apart the cars they review, CarsGuide doesn’t just talk about cars, they get them. By ripping through the chaos of myths, opinions and marketing spin, they help Australians get cars too. And with integrated marketplace capabilities, they can also quite literally help Australians get into one.

“With the launch of Get Cars, we’re reaffirming our role as the fiercely independent partner in the journey,” said Rowena Kanna, director of marketing and brand at Gumtree Group. “Buying a car should feel empowering, not overwhelming, and this platform helps cut through the noise so people can make decisions with real confidence.”

The work dramatises the chaos of modern car-buying culture, from conflicting advice to spec-sheet overload, and shows how CarsGuide cuts through the nonsense to deliver clarity and confidence.

“The Get Cars platform captures CarsGuide’s expertise as those who Get Cars, the extensive education resources to help Aussies Get Cars too, and a marketplace where you can go Get Cars,” said Kate Idle, senior art director at Today the Brave.

Rolling out nationally across ACM, Social, Spotify and oOh!media outdoor, ‘Get Cars’ is looking to reach Australians at key moments of consideration and everyday life.

This marks a significant evolution for CarsGuide as it strengthens its position as Australia’s most trusted independent car-buying partner cutting through the chaos and helping Australians skip the runaround and cut to the car chase.
