Chery Australia has become the official automotive partner for The Block.

The partnership will see Chery support contestants both on and off the tools, awarding weekly challenge winners $10,000 towards their build, offering a fleet of vehicles to get them from A to B, and introducing a world-first integration featuring Chery’s Humanoid Robot.

Chery has supplied a fleet of 20 vehicles from its popular Tiggo range, including the Tiggo 4 HEV, Tiggo 8 Super Hybrid and flagship Tiggo 9 Super Hybrid, helping contestants navigate the streets of picturesque Mount Eliza, as they take on what is one of Australia’s most demanding renovation challenges.

The fleet will become a familiar sight throughout the season, powering everything from supplier runs and site visits to the contestants’ all-important Monday night escape, where they can take their foot off the pedal and enjoy a well-earned break from the pressures of the build.

Adding a new dimension to Sunday night reveals, Chery’s Humanoid Robot will join host Scott Cam at Block HQ, helping deliver the judges’ scores. Blending cutting-edge technology with one of Australia’s most-loved TV formats, the robot’s appearance will bring an innovative new dynamic to the competition.

Lucas Harris, Chief Operating Officer of Chery Australia said “We are delighted to partner with The Block, a show that, like us, celebrates ambition, hard work and creativity. As contestants take such a unique ride, our Tiggo range will help keep them moving.

We’re also thrilled for Australian audiences to meet our Humanoid Robot in a truly unique way, showcasing the innovation at the heart of our brand. We look forward to the season ahead and bringing some exciting technology, memorable moments, and rewarding experiences to the show.”

Sarah Stewart, director of content partnerships and client experience, at Nine, commented: “We’re excited to welcome Chery to The Block in 2026. The Tiggo 9 Super Hybrid became a natural extension of the contestants’ journey, playing a genuine role in the story of the season and adding another layer to the authentic experience audiences love.”

Andrew Clift, Sydney GM of UM, commented: “Today’s audiences expect brands to earn their place in content. The Block provides Chery with the perfect platform to introduce more Australians to a brand that is rapidly making its mark, showcasing its innovation, technology and value in an authentic environment that builds both familiarity and trust.”

Viewers can see Chery at the heart of The Block action when the series returns to Channel 9 from 2nd August 2026.
