Tasmania-based premium whisky producer Sullivans Cove has tapped AKA Communications as its global communications agency, as the brand looks to expand its international presence across luxury and spirits markets.

The partnership will see AKA Communications lead global public relations strategy for a series of upcoming product releases, with a focus on brand storytelling, media relations and strategic partnerships aimed at engaging collectors, luxury consumers and industry influencers.

Hailing from Tasmania in Australia, Sullivans Cove has built a global reputation for its small-batch approach to whisky-making, emphasising provenance, patience and precision. The distillery rose to international prominence after being named ‘World’s Best Single Malt’ at the World Whiskies Awards, a milestone that helped strengthen its position as one of Australia’s most awarded whisky producers.

Each cask produced by Sullivans Cove is bottled individually, reflecting the brand’s philosophy of craftsmanship and individuality – an approach that aligns closely with AKA Communications’ positioning in the premium and luxury communications space.

AKA Communications co-founder Katrina Kutchinsky said the agency was proud to partner with a brand that has set a global benchmark in whisky production.

“We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Sullivans Cove, a brand that has consistently set the benchmark for craftsmanship and authenticity within the global whisky category,” Kutchinsky said.

“Their commitment to producing exceptional, small-batch single malts aligns perfectly with our approach to building meaningful, culturally relevant narratives for luxury clients.”
