Tapt Media has launched Fascinated with Jacqui Felgate, an intimate, interview-led podcast hosted by Australian journalists and digital powerhouses.
Stepping away from the noise and controversy of the daily news cycle, the weekly show sees the 3AW drive host and broadcaster open up a dedicated space for deep curiosity, long-form conversations, and zero politics. Fascinated with Jacqui Felgate moves beyond traditional interview formats to explore the rabbit holes, childhood fixations, and unexpected obsessions that shape extraordinary lives.
“I’ve spent decades meeting fascinating people – from Hollywood A-listers and professional sportspeople, to the people who DM me craziest stories every day – and always wish I had more time to chat! This podcast is that space. It’s my playground off the radio where we dive into the weird and wonderful fixations people can’t shake. Our guests bared their souls in ways I never anticipated, and I can’t wait for listeners to be as completely captivated by their stories as me,” commented host Felgate.
Available where listeners and viewers press play on their content, the podcast features a premiere line-up including Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, Brooke Warne, reality TV star and ‘BookTok’ sensation Luke Bateman, and Australian Parkour and Free runner Dominic Di Tommaso (aka @domtomato).
“We are thrilled to launch this flagship title with Jacqui Felgate, a broadcaster who genuinely commands the attention of hundreds of thousands of Australians daily. Jacqui has an innate ability to cut through the noise, and Fascinated expands her community by bringing listeners into a closed-door environment with people who live extraordinary lives. There is only one rule on this show: no politics. Just pure, compelling human storytelling,” said Tapt Media content director, Richard Stansbury.
In Brooke Warne’s episode she defends her dad’s legacy in an emotional, wide-ranging interview, opening up about “growing up Warne” and her decision to publicly hit back at the dramatisation of her father’s life, stating, “I couldn’t just sit back and let that happen… it was pretty poor.”
She shares intimate family memories of Shane Warne as the ultimate “skincare and product king,” her realisation of his global fame at age 18, and why looking identical to her dad is a blessing: “I’m literally a dead ringer for him… future kids will look at me and see their grandpa.”
New episodes will be dropping every Wednesday on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube.
