SCA has taken out 30 awards across its Hit and Triple M networks and LiSTNR at the 2022 Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAS), the most of any radio and audio network.
The ACRAS were presented at a gala event in Sydney attended by 1,000 radio personalities and executives from around the country.
SCA saw ACRAS awarded for its talent, news, marketing, sales promotions and community work from all over the country in the metro, non-metro, provincial and country categories.
Triple M Melbourne’s James Brayshaw took one of the top awards – Best Sports Presenter. Brayshaw is the co-host of The Rush Hour with JB and Billy on Triple M Melbourne and LiSTNR. Another major award winner was RnB Fridays Radio as Best Digital Radio Station at the ACRAS.
Tanya and Steve from 102.9 Triple M Newcastle’s Breakfast show won Best On-air Team – Provincial, while 90.9 Sean FM’s Breakfast announcer Bianca Dye won Best Entertainment Presenter – Provincial. The Hit Network’s Jimmy and Nath won Best Radio Show Podcast.
Triple M won both Best Sports Event Coverage awards for ‘Raiders On Mix – Raiders v Titans Comeback Match’ on Mix 106.3, Canberra, and ‘Local AFL Grand Final Call and Cometti’s Final Call’ on 92.9 Triple M Perth. LiSTNR’s “Open Your Ears” won Best Marketing Campaign for 2022.
