WW (formerly Weight Watchers) has announced that KIIS FM radio host and The Masked Singer panellist, Jackie Henderson, has joined the WW family as a WW Ambassador.
Having felt a shift in her health and confidence, Jackie has enlisted the help of WW’s science-backed program and award-winning app to support her in losing 10 to 15 kg, so that she can not only feel healthier and happier in herself but also have a positive impact on her family’s health too.
“I realised I’d stopped wanting to leave the house and was avoiding social outings because I just didn’t feel well, motivated or confident anymore,” said Henderson. “I joined WW so that I can feel healthier, be more active, feel good about myself, and fit into my old clothes again. It’s also important to me that I set a good example for my daughter about a healthy lifestyle and approach to eating.”
With her busy lifestyle and early mornings taking their toll on her sleep, energy levels and eating patterns, Jackie Henderson revealed she had slipped into some unhealthy habits, and would find herself often snacking and watching TV on the lounge at home after work and getting no exercise.
“It can be a challenge to set a good standard for the day when you’re up at 4:30am and running out the door – your whole day and eating schedule can be a little bit out of whack from there.”
After trying and giving up on a number of restrictive diets in the past, Jackie turned to WW for a sustainable solution that can help her develop healthy habits and change her approach to eating for good.
“Over the years, I’ve tried every diet under the sun, from the cabbage soup diet to the lemon detox diet, and none were healthy or endurable long term. WW is different as it offers a relaxed and modern approach to weight loss that’s centred around your lifestyle and what works for you, rather than starving yourself trying to lose the weight – I was thrilled to learn I could still eat carbs! It feels so easy, I can’t wait to tell everyone about it!”
Mathieu Le Renard, managing director at WW in Australia and New Zealand, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Jackie O to the WW family. She shares our passion for the positive impact our science-backed program can have on people’s lives and we believe her journey will resonate among our community and inspire many who wish to lose weight and get healthier.”
