The NSW Electoral Commission has appointed independent agency AFFINITY to handle its strategy and creative during next year’s state election.
Speaking to B&T, AFFINITY chief executive Luke Brown said the agency was selected for its data smarts and strategic insight, which led to “an empowering creative platform”.
“Our task is to ensure all NSW voters are aware of the forthcoming election on 23 March 2019 and are enabled to vote – an incredibly diverse group of people and an important but periodic and challenging engagement category,” he said.
“This is against the backdrop of unprecedented political turmoil, disenchantment with our politicians and decreasing voter turnout worldwide.
“We’re working with a client that values the role data can play in informing effective communication, which has made for a great collaborative experience and we hope some impressive results.
“We look forward to sharing the work in the new year.”
