Netball World Cup 2027 Appoints Rifle As Sponsorship Sales Agency

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027 (NWC2027) has appointed leading Australian partnerships agency, Rifle, as the exclusive sponsorship sales agency for the tournament.

The  NWC tournament will celebrate netball, elevate the fan experience and build a legacy for the sport to inspires pride and passion.

Netball Australia, World Netball (WN) and the LOC revealed ‘Brace Yourself’, a new brand identity for WN’s event. It was designed to move netball into the future for the next generation of fans, players and partners. The tournament will be future-focused, showcasing the power, energy, and momentum of international netball.

Rifle will work in conjunction with the LOC on the commercial sponsorship sales strategy, including the identification and acquisition of up to four Premier Partners, four Official Partners and eight Tournament Supporters.

Additionally, Rifle will provide insights and connect with brands who have aligned partnership objectives to support the amplification of the NWC2027.

John Nicholl general manager revenue and experience World Cup Sydney 2027 Local Organising Committee said: “We’re delighted to be working with Rifle in their capacity as the official Sponsorship Sales Agency for next year’s Netball World Cup to be staged in Sydney.

“Their experience and expertise will assist the Local Organising Committee to connect with the right partners in ways that are authentic, innovative and impactful as we look to deliver the best ever Netball World Cup that will engage communities across the nation, attract record-breaking crowds, set a new benchmark for global viewership, and create a legacy for the sport both in Australia and around the world.

Rifle works with rightsholders and brands across sport, music and entertainment to create mutual and sustainable partnerships. Rifle has collaborated with several Australian sporting organisations and teams in AFL, NRL and cricket.
