Volunteer-run crime prevention community program Neighbourhood Watch Victoria has appointed independent agency Superhuman as media agency of record, tasked with delivering the organisation’s first major campaign since 1983. The appointment sees Superhuman join creative partner Manifest to help evolve the brand.
Superhuman will lead media strategy, planning and investment across TVC, BVOD, digital, social and OOH.
The partnership comes amid record levels of motor vehicle-motivated aggravated burglary in Victoria, with the campaign aiming to instil preventative home security habits across metropolitan Melbourne.
Launched in July, Superhuman positions itself as a senior-led, AI-powered alternative to holding-company media shops.
“For Neighbourhood Watch, media isn’t just about reaching people, it’s about helping them change their habits. Superhuman’s senior team and focus on impact made them the right partner to work alongside Manifest’s creative leadership,” Bambi Gordon, CEO of Neighbourhood Watch Victoria said.
“This is more than a campaign brief. It’s about helping Neighbourhood Watch continue its mission of making communities safer, friendlier places to live. Our job is to ensure the media delivers the reach and impact that mission deserves – and we’re excited to play a meaningful part in it,” Luke Maher, founder of Superhuman added.
The appointment follows Superhuman’s recent partnerships spanning education, e-commerce and wellness categories.
