MediaCom Gets On Board With P&O’s Affiliate Business

MediaCom Sydney has successfully secured the management of P&O Cruises affiliate business in both Australia and New Zealand. Securement of this account sees P&O Cruises join the expanding affiliate portfolio at MediaCom, which currently includes Westpac Banking Group.

The campaign is set to launch on Performance Horizon, which is the same platform that The Content & Connections Agency uses for Westpac Banking Group. This joint venture see’s P&O Cruises as the first cruise liner to launch an affiliate programme in this market.

Jo Jones, affiliate director at MediaCom said, “We are thrilled to be working with P&O Cruises. MediaCom Australia has been partners with Carnival Australia for several years and we are very proud to do all we can to deliver great results and innovative ideas for our new client. P&O’s welcome addition to our affiliate department has allowed us to continue to grow our integrated digital offering for our clients. We are looking forward to working with the P&O Cruises team to achieve fantastic results.”

Mel Faeghy, head of digital at Carnival Australia said, “We are excited to be launching our affiliate campaign with MediaCom. We are always looking for ways to diversify our marketing channels and drive incremental revenue. We believe the campaign will be a great compliment to our other online channels.”

Great work and consolidation continues to be high on the agenda for MediaCom as they enter 2015. Proof of this, the Content & Connections agency were recently recognized for their excellence and creative media thinking by receiving Gold and Bronze awards at the recent Festival of Media Asia Pacific awards.
