Lisa Wilkinson Returns To Her Post At The Project Permanently

The media frenzy dust has settled, and now Lisa Wilkinson has finally returned to The Project desk permanently.

Wilkinson has been off the desk and reporting internationally for the show since her disastrous Logies speech that ultimately led to a delay in the high-profile Brittany Higgins’s trial.

She briefly returned in July for a week stint and then she was off again on holidays. Reportedly she is now back on The Project for good.

Wilkinson’s return to 10’s show will bring some much-needed stability. The Project has dealt with a few shake-ups this year. From Carrie Bickmore going on holidays to Wilkinson being surrounded by controversy.

However, it is worth noting that so much of the criticism thrown Wilkinson’s way since the Logies speech has been drenched in misogyny and clearly, Wilkinson made a strategical choice to step away from the searing spotlight while the story was at its loudest.

Now Wilkinson is back to doing what she does best! Anchoring the news alongside 10’s fabulous talent.
