We have been absolutely blown away by the response to our call for nominations for the 2018 Women in Media Power List. What an amazing bunch of talent we are blessed with.

We think we’re very close to being able to hand over the list to our judges to select their top picks, thus arriving at the final 30. What a task they have ahead of them too thanks to all of your suggestions. We’re now boasting a list of 175 absolute power houses, but alas there can be only 30 in the final list.

Last year, the top of our list was none other than the fabulous Nicole Sheffield, but with her moving on from News Corp, the number one spot is once again wide open!

You don’t have to be a CEO to get on this list (or top it) – our judges just have to deem you influential and powerful. So if that’s you, or someone you know! Comment away. But check this long list of amazing women first. We have to close this list soon!

So as always if you’ve got someone to add, drop a note in the comments section below.

Angie Bradbury from Dig&Fish is the best leader and managing director I’ve worked with to date. Her passion for her staff, encouragement for backing ourselves and the work that we do, and her dedication to supporting women in the industry is incredible.

From starting up Liquid Ideas in 2000, to merging two companies to produce the entity that now is Dig&Fish today, I am incredibly proud of where I work and can’t wait to see what’s next for us!

Wooohooooo, go Angie Bradbury! The best leader and mentor I’ve had in my career!

  • David Hovenden 3 years ago

    Hi Natalie,

We’ve got quite a few of your suggestions on the list already too!

  • Luisa Paton 3 years ago

The list wouldn’t be complete without Nicole Milward from JOY. Motivating, inspirational, supportive and smart.

  • craig mccann 3 years ago

Agree with Luisa Paton…no list without the inspiring Nicole Milward from JOY!

  • Amy Woodley 3 years ago

Kath Blackham (Founder of Deepend and Versa) should definitely be on this list!

Kath founded Versa last year which is Australia’s first and currently only enterprise level voice experience agency and has dedicated the past twelve months in educating our industry on how to get ready for voice. She is involved in the industry at every level including being on the board of the Digital & Technology Collective and helping get initiatives like Code Like a Girl up and running. Her real passion is showing the industry how true flexibility can work so that employees can do amazing work AND have a life – she is constantly innovating in this area.
