In the lead-up to this year’s B&T Awards (presented by YouTube), we’re sitting down with each of our sponsors to find out why they’ve decided to throw their support behind the event, and how they recognise and celebrate their own achievements and success.

Here, we chat with Captify’s general manager for Australia, Krish Raja…

Why did Captify decide to support this year’s B&T Awards?

Being a fairly recent entrant to the Aussie media landscape, we’re really excited to show off our brand and get on the radars of agencies as a future-proofed data partner. Not to mention, the first time we all get back together for a big awards night is bound to be epic, so we just couldn’t miss out!

What are you most looking forward to at this year’s B&T Awards?

Seeing all the legends of agency land in person and in good spirits after such a long time.

Captify is sponsoring the Independent Agency category at this year’s B&T Awards. What will the winner of this award represent?

Indies are an incredibly powerful force in Australia at the moment; they bring a lot of smarts and entrepreneurship to media buying. There are so many awesome indies out there at the moment, so the winner of this award will honestly have done incredibly well to stand out as the best of the best.

How does Captify recognise and celebrate its own achievements and success, be they big or small?

Every week on a Monday, we all talk to each other about what Captify value we’re going to represent, and every Friday, we talk about how we represented it. Failing fast comes up a lot here; it’s one of our core business values, and so one of the things we celebrate the most is a fast failure that led to a learning or a success for the future.

What’s your message to all of the finalists for this year’s B&T Awards?

There’s never been more competition for great creative, data executions, agency operations and all the rest in between, so whatever happens, you’ve made it. Be proud and enjoy the night!

Do you have any tips for the MCs on holding a crowd at what is sure to be a pretty raucous event?

Make it quick. Don’t give us too many opportunities to wander around during the awards!

The B&T Awards are a good excuse for attendees to don their glad rags in celebration. Do you have an outfit picked out already?

I probably don’t fit into my suit anymore, but it should be funny getting back into it and seeing how well I can tie my tie these days!

The B&T Awards 2021, presented by YouTube, will be held on Friday 12 November at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, kicking off at 6pm (AEDT). Grab your ticket HERE now before they sell out!

B&T can’t wait to welcome guests to the Hordern Pavilion for a COVID-safe event! Adhering to the current NSW Public Health Order, all guests are to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or NSW Health-approved vaccination exemption upon entry to the venue.

Oh, and if you’re wondering which companies and campaigns are up for an award this year, check out parts one and two of our shortlist.

Once again, a huge thanks to YouTube and the rest of our fabulous sponsors for making this year’s B&T Awards possible!
