An Amazon worker has recorded his anxiety inducing journey through the warehouse floor, as robotic shelving units appear to trap the man between aisles.

The footage was uploaded to Tik Tok by user, robotman77, with accompanying text overlay, “The robots at work trap me… It took my like 15 minutes to get out.”

The video shows the man pacing around an Amazon warehouse floor and trying to find his way out, only to have certain pathways blocked or shifted around by the yellow, shelves-on-wheels, automatic robotic workers.

“They tried to block me in!” The man can be heard saying. “These pods be messing with me.”

As the lighthearted, but eerie video progresses, the man stops to show viewers his robotic co-workers’ charging area, before turning around to face another “pod” suddenly blocking his path.

“Oh my god, why has it stopped in the middle?” The man exasperates, before trying another exit to his left which is also blocked by another automatic shelving unit.

“I gotta find a way out! This is the part where it seems like a maze,” he adds.

After some more dead-ends, the Amazon worker finds his way out, inviting plenty of relief – and humour – in the comments section.

“The boss wouldn’t believe you… good thing you recorded it!” Wrote user, Coffeeandsprinkles.

“Episode of Black Mirror. The robots trap you in there until you go feral and then guide you to another deranged worker and livestream the bloodbath,” commented a different Tik Tok user with a vibrant imagination.

“THEYRE LEARNING AND REBELLING!!” Commented another creatively gifted TikTokker.

‘Attack of the Killer Bezos-Bots’ or not, this video adds another chapter to the ongoing, eternally flabbergasting and spiritually crushing working-in-an-Amazon-warehouse saga.
