Honeycomb Strategy has widened its executive team with two news hires, reinforcing its focus on data-led decision making and impactful insight for brands navigating an increasingly complex adtech and martech landscape.
Kieran Collins has joined the team as strategy director, and Luke Chen as senior strategy consultant.
Collins arrives after six years at research and planning consultancy STRAT7 Incite in the UK, where he advised global organisations across financial services, telecommunications, insurance, and FMCG. Working at the intersection of data, technology and brand strategy, he built a reputation for translating complex datasets into clear strategic direction.
His work consistently moved clients beyond surface-level findings, revealing what truly drives customer behaviour.
Relocating from Essex in the UK to Melbourne for the role, Collins admits he’s excited to be joining Honeycomb Strategy.
“What excites me most about joining Honeycomb Strategy is the calibre of thinking and curiosity within the team,” Collins said. “There is a genuine willingness to challenge convention, innovate, and deeply care about clients’ ambitions. I am also very much looking forward to embracing Australian life and bringing my UK experience to the local market.”
At Honeycomb Strategy, Collins will further strengthen the agency’s quantitative and analytics capability, combining robust research design with modern data frameworks to help marketers unlock more value from their customer, brand and performance data.
Chen joins from Bastion, where he spent four years as senior client manager leading integrated research programs for major brands. Known for his commercially grounded approach, Chen brings experience connecting insight to growth strategy across complex organisations.
His background spans the healthcare sector, including roles at HotDoc and Scope, where he developed deep experience in digital product environments and customer-centric transformation initiatives.
Chen added: “I’m excited to join Honeycomb Strategy at a time when the business has a bold and energising vision for the future of insights. The curiosity, ambition, and momentum across the team are genuinely infectious. I’m looking forward to contributing my experience where it’s useful, while supporting a great group of clients and colleagues as the business continues to grow.”
At Honeycomb Strategy, Chen’s focus will be on partnering with business directors and the broader team to deliver foundational insights that are compelling, credible, and built for action – helping clients build conviction in their decisions and make informed decisions on the future of their business.
Honeycomb strategy managing director, John Bevitt, said the appointments reflect the company’s continued growth and its commitment to expanding the depth of its strategic capability in response to evolving client needs.
“As our client base continues to grow, so too does the need to strengthen our senior team,” Bevitt said. “Kieran and Luke bring complementary experience that expands our strategic capabilities. Appointing senior talent with both local and international experience is a critical part of ensuring we continue to deliver high-impact, future-focused work for our clients.”
The appointments follow a sustained period of growth for Honeycomb Strategy, as brands increasingly seek sharper, evidence-based strategies to drive performance across brand, media and customer experience.
Collins and Chen join as Honeycomb Strategy prepares to release its next self-funded report on subscription models next quarter.
