Following a competitive pitch process, Key Pharmaceuticals has appointed Hatched as its agency partner for strategy, planning and buying duties.
Hatched will deliver brand and retail campaigns across the full customer journey for a portfolio of brands including Blistex, TravaCalm and Ostevit-D.
“Partnering with Hatched has been an incredibly positive experience. The strategic thinking and holistic approach they took during the pitch process exceeded our expectations, bringing fresh, out-of-the-box recommendations that have a real impact. The team’s energy, professionalism, and collaboration have made them a joy to work with,” Key Pharmaceuticals’ director of marketing and innovation, Nick Boyden said.
For Hatched, the Key Pharmaceuticals portfolio is an opportunity to apply its retail background to guide the business as it meets the demands of the pharmacy and grocery categories.
“The Key Pharmaceuticals team was a pleasure to be in the same room with, from the moment we were engaged. With so many exciting number one brands within their portfolio, there are endless opportunities to collaboratively work through. We can’t wait to create ambitious, results-driven work with Nick and the team,” Hatched managing partner and head of strategy Danni Dimitri said.
Hatched Sydney opened its doors three years ago with a model that offers owned-out communications planning, digital and influencer services, and media buying. Key Pharmaceuticals joins the Sydney team’s client roster, which includes The GPT Group, Jack Links, Who Gives a Crap, Swaggle and Klook.
Established in 1985, Key Pharmaceuticals has grown from its Sydney origins to become a nationwide pharmaceutical company, specialising in over-the-counter consumer products.
