GWM Urges Aussies To ‘Be More Tank’ In New Campaign Via Thinkerbell

GWM is inviting Australians to ‘Be More Tank’ in its latest campaign via Thinkerbell for the Tank 300 Plug-in Hybrid.

Powered by GWM’s Hi4-T Hybrid Intelligent 4WD, the Tank 300 puts off-roading within reach like never before. A suite of driving modes gives drivers the confidence to tackle dirt, mud, and hills – encouraging them to truly be more tank.

The campaign’s video follows a young driver venturing off-road, repeatedly chanting “be more tank” as he powers through the bush. His journey takes an amusing turn when he stops suddenly in front of a quokka, before revving up again and heading toward a cliffside, belting his mantra all the way.

“The Tank 300 Plug-in Hybrid has already proven itself as one of Australia & New Zealand’s most capable electrified vehicles with true 4×4 capability, allowing drivers to ‘Be More Tank’ at every opportunity,” said Steve Maciver, head of marketing and communications at GWM.

“And in the context of cost-of-living pressures and rising fuel prices the Tank 300 PHEV is not just the right car at the right time, for whatever you throw at it, it’s the future of off-roading.

Sean McNicholas, head tinker at Thinkerbell, added: “When you sit in this powerful vehicle, and acknowledge the capability that surrounds you, you can’t help but hear your inner confidence start to sing. And soon, the farthest, muddiest, hilliest reaches of our beautiful land feel well in range.”

Be More Tank launches this weekend across Screens, OOH, digital and social, with plenty more Tank in the tank.
