GoTransit Media Group has secured exclusive advertising rights for Big Bus Sydney, strengthening its position in the transit out-of-home (OOH) sector and expanding its portfolio of high-visibility media assets across Australia’s largest city.
Big Bus Sydney, one of the city’s most recognisable sightseeing services, operates open-top double-decker buses across key tourist routes, including the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Bondi Beach and Darling Harbour.
The network delivers sustained exposure to both domestic and international audiences across Sydney’s most visited landmarks.
GoTransit said the acquisition marks another step in its strategy to invest in large-format, high-impact transit media.
“This is another strong win for GoTransit as we continue to invest in premium, high-impact advertising assets,” said Kirrily Hirst, director of sales at GoTransit Media Group.
“Big Bus Sydney offers brands a highly visible, mobile platform in one of Australia’s most sought-after markets.”
The launch of the newly secured network will be fronted by Heineken, which has been named as the inaugural campaign partner. The global beer brand will activate across the Big Bus Sydney fleet, leveraging its routes through high-footfall tourist precincts and iconic city locations.
“Through Big Bus Sydney, Heineken taps into a standout media platform, delivering visibility and impact across one of the world’s most vibrant cities,” said Rafaël Todorovici, senior brand manager at Heineken.
