Are you busy executive on the run, but also a bit of a raging alcoholic? Well, it appears Kmart is the place to be today.
The budget chain has just unveiled a new $25 handbag that comes with a secret booze dispenser.
On first inspection the bag looks like your everyday nautical-themed striped shoulder bag, but a closer look reveals a sneaky, easy-pour spout in the lower corner, hidden by a flap of fabric for discreet on-the-go boozing.
The compartment contains a bladder bag and spout which can be filled with whatever your poison of choice.
Kmart marketing has described the bag as “an essential carry-along for those outdoor adventures”.
As this things have want to do, they can catch the eye of health professionals and drinking advocacy groups. Yet, thus far they’ve remained remarkably silent on the boozy bag.
On other hand, Kmart shoppers appear smitten.
Taking to the retailer’s Facebook page, one fan wrote: “I need this in my life! Maybe more than one,” while another added: “Another reason to go to Kmart.”
“I bought this bag. I absolutely love this bag. It is incredibly spacious and fits so much food! And the wine bag is a happy coincidence. I’ve only used it for water on outings with the kids but it stayed cold all day! Absolutely worth it!”
Added another: “Best thing to happen in 2020!”
