Yes, you read that right, entries for the 2025 B&T Awards close on 29 August.

That means you have just eight days (if you work weekends) to get your entries in for Australia and New Zealand’s greatest awards show!

Not only is it a chance to get your name and team in lights—like Howatson+Company, Dig, DDB, BMF and M+C Saatchi did last year among many others—it’s also a chance to get yourself in front of the country’s top marketers. You could win yourself a client or two with a soaring presentation at our live judging day.

This year, there are more opportunities to get yourself in front of the country’s leading budget holders with expanded and revamped categories. Here’s a reminder of what you could win.

Best Retail Media Network

This category is new for 2025, reflecting the explosive growth of the retail media sector in Australia.

The first award honours the sharpest work in the retail media space. The jury will be looking for a retail media network that has pushed boundaries and led the industry by showing how it has delivered sustained commercial success, had a dramatic influence on the market and is an exceptional advertising vehicle.

To accompany this, the Best Retail Media Campaign is new for 2025. Jurors will be on the hunt for a campaign showing a strong strategic insight, innovation and creativity, and a smart use of targeting and data. It should also ace the business results such as ROI, brand life, revenue and more.

State Agency Awards

We’ve revamped the state agency awards this year, too.

New South Wales and Victorian Agency of the Year still exist unchanged—and from where we’re sitting, the competition looks hotter than ever.

But this year, we’ve separated the Aotearoa New Zealand Agency of the Year award from the rest of Australia.

That means last year’s winner in Special has even hotter competition to retain its title!

It also means that there’s a new trophy up for grabs: QLD/Other States/Territories Agency. So if you’re an agency in SA, WA, the NT, QLD or even the ACT, don’t miss your chance in the sun.

Specialist Agency Categories

It’s early days but the competition for the Branding, Design & CX Agency trophy is looking fierce. Don’t miss out on your chance to scoop this important trophy!

We’ve also got new awards for Corporate and Consumer PR agencies of the year.

So with all that in mind, don’t miss out on entering the B&T Awards and the best party of the year!
