Edge Marketing Strengthens AI-Led Search Capability With Luke Gosha Appointment

Edge Marketing has appointed AI and SEO specialist, Luke Gosha as its new head of search and AI strategy.

Gosha’s appointment marks a strategic investment in new growth opportunities for current and future clients, as AI reshapes brand discovery across search engines and LLMs.

In his role, Gosha will lead Edge’s SEO and AI strategy, focusing on translating global practice into scalable outcomes for brands operating in Australia. His remit includes identifying growth opportunities created by AI-led search and integrating advanced SEO and AI methodologies into client strategies.

Gosha joins Edge from London-based performance agency StrategiQ, where he previously served as head of search and AI. His appointment gives Edge clients access to insights, frameworks and approaches that have been tested under market pressure.

Edge CEO and director Rohan Dwyer said the appointment was driven by opportunity, not uncertainty: “At Edge, we believe AI-driven search represents one of the most significant commercial opportunities the industry has seen in decades. This is a senior, business-critical role at the centre of how Edge will safeguard existing client performance, but to also actively help our clients gain competitive advantage by applying proven AI-led search. We see this shift as a massive opportunity for businesses that are prepared to lead,” Dwyer explained.

“Our global search was about finding someone who has already succeeded in a market where AI-led search is advanced, highly competitive and commercially proven. Luke brings that experience, along with the ability to translate it into practical, measurable outcomes for Australian clients.”

According to Dwyer, it was this ability to turn technological change into commercial advantage that set Gosha apart: “Luke stood out immediately for his growth mindset. He understands how to convert complexity into opportunity, and that capability will be invaluable for our clients as search continues to evolve,” he said.

Dwyer added that cultural alignment was equally important.

“Above all, we were looking for a great human. Luke embodies the values-driven culture we care deeply about at Edge, and we’re excited about what this means for our clients and our team.” he said.

Commenting on his appointment, Gosha said he was excited to bring proven global thinking into the Australian market: “Having been involved in search marketing for well over a decade, I’ve helped many brands navigate the changing nature of search. Having been based in the UK for most of my career I’m looking forward to bringing my skills, expertise and character to Edge, that creates a genuine competitive advantage for Edge’s clients,” Gosha said.

“Edge has a clear vision for how AI can be used to drive growth, not just efficiency, and I’m excited to work with a team that is focused on long-term client outcomes.”
