Circle In has appointed Liz Fox as chief growth officer, a strategic appointment to drive international expansion for the ‘fam-tech’ business supporting working parents and carers.
Previously an industry manager at Google, Fox will oversee the marketing, sales and product development at Circle In, which supports more than 200,000 families globally.
Jodi Geddes, co-founder of Circle In, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Liz to our team of 20 plus staff in Melbourne and Sydney.”
“Having the calibre of Liz’s experience with Google and the start-up sector in the United Kingdom is a boom for Circle In and our customers.
“We have an enormous opportunity in front of us to expand the offering globally and Liz will play an instrumental role in helping us to achieve this,” Geddes said.
Fox added: “I’ve found myself an unwitting early adopter of this trend called the Great Resignation and as a mother of three boys, I was drawn to Circle In as a purpose-led employer to support working parents.”
“There is a stigma around being a career mum, a stay at home mum, a work-first dad, a dad that leaves work early to do pick-up.
“With the right employer support, parents can achieve their career and family aspirations,” she said.
Fox’s appointment is four days a week to enable her to spend time with her boys, including a 17-month old.
“I have a 7 year old who has missed most of his early year schooling experience, a 5-year-old starting prep next year and a ‘baby’. Like many parents, I want to be present for my children particularly at such a disruptive time but I’m also committed to my career, focusing on outcomes, not hours.”
“Circle In has been so successful to date because some of the world’s most progressive organisations recognise the need to drive change and support working families. I’m excited to be part of this next critical chapter of growth,” she said.
Circle In is an employee benefits platform designed for working parents. The growing start-up now employs more than 23 staff and supports over 60 progressive companies globally.
