Carat Australia Promotes Two With New Strategy Roles

Carat has announced the promotion of Sam Hegg (pictured), to the role of national head of product for Carat Australia.

Laura Bartal has also been promoted, stepping into Hegg’s previous role as head of strategy in Melbourne.

These promotions come as Gavin Ashcroft, Carat’s chief strategy officer has announced he will depart to join The Walt Disney Company as chief marketing officer.

Speaking about these promotions, Simon Ryan, CEO of Carat Australia & New Zealand said: “Sam and Laura are both incredibly high performers in our business who deserve to be recognised and to progress in their careers as part of our commitment to promoting from within.

“We are blessed with a depth of talent in our Strategy team and Sam and Laura are outstanding individuals who will continue to drive our business forward.  Their promotions are thoroughly deserved and we congratulate them both.”
